Even though it's a little early to be blogging, there's so much on my mind right now that I need to get out! Ever since I received the offer last week to intern at COTERC this summer, it's been nothing but turtles and Costa Rica on my mind. It's been 3 months since I applied for this opportunity through York's International Internship Program and all that patience really has paid off! I couldn't be happier or more excited for this, it's something I've wanted my whole life and I can't believe this is finally happening for me.
There's so many questions on my mind and there's so much uncertainty at the moment. Luckily, I only have two weeks left of school and then I can really start planning for this trip. I have a meeting with York International tomorrow to pick up my internship information package and to ask them some questions. I'll continue to update this blog with more information as as I countdown to departure. For now, I've got to concentrate on exams and essays, but really I'd just like to sit down and read these two books:
